Welcome home.

To your body. To your rhythm. To the radiant parts of yourself that may have gone quiet, but never left.

I’m Emily Moon King — mama, Ayurvedic health advisor, movement guide, and storyteller. This space was born from a deep desire to help women reconnect with the wisdom within their bodies and the cycles of nature —   so they can live, birth, and create in full color.

Emily Moon King

Once upon a time, I was doing all the right things — working with brands like The New York Times and Sotheby’s, chasing prestige in polished heels and high expectations.

Until I walked away.

I became an actress (yes, there are golden horror shorts to prove it), and somewhere between screaming in the woods and rewriting my script, I realized I needed more than applause — I needed soul.

So I moved into a van and started telling my own story.

I followed the ocean and chased wild freedom, co-founding Where’s My Office Now? before vanlife was trending. For seven years I lived and worked on the road, falling in love with Earth, embodiment, and what it means to live creatively aligned.

Motherhood deepened that devotion.

I consciously prepared my body and spirit to conceive, guided by Ayurveda, nature-based rituals, and movement medicine. When my son was born healthy and radiant, so was a new version of me — rooted, soft, fierce.

Today, I live in the Maine mountains with my family, offering embodied wisdom, creative tools, and seasonal support for women navigating pregnancy, motherhood, healing, entrepreneurship, or rebirth of any kind.

My work

Whether I’m guiding someone through postpartum depletion, building their dream website, or helping a mother feel at home in her changing body — my work always begins with three things:

A return to self.

A rhythm.

A remembering.

My offerings weave together:

🌿 Ayurvedic coaching + gut health

🤰🏽 Prenatal yoga + feminine movement

🌹 Self-care rituals for each season of life

🌀 Soulful business mentorship + branding support

🔥 Creative tools that honor your body’s wisdom and your spirit’s fire

It’s all one thing, really:

Helping women feel good in their bodies and free in their lives — so they can create what only they are here to create.

You're in the right place if...

You crave rhythm, but you’re done with rigid routines.

You want wellness that’s ancient, earthy, and deeply feminine.

You’ve been the strong one for too long, and you’re ready to soften.

You secretly long for a skoolie, a cottagecore kitchen, or a barefoot morning in the garden.

You want to feel good in your body and free in your life — so you can create what only you are here to create.

You dream of a life that feels like freedom, not burnout.

You’re building something… or you’re becoming someone… and you’re not sure what it is yet.

You’re not trying to fix yourself — you’re remembering who you are.

If you’re nodding your head…

2008

9-5 Life, NYC Dreamin'
Once wore heels to meetings at Sotheby’s and deadlines at The New York Times.

2010

Actress Era
Traded business casual for blood-splattered scripts — acting gave me a taste of storytelling (and fake blood).

2012

Vanlife Begins
Hit the road in a 1987 VW Vanagon to write my own story. Was it possible to work remotely on the road and live a life of adventure? Little did I know I’d find my authentic voice and inspire a movement that has now grown to 3 million vehicle-dwelling people in the US alone.

2016

Ayurveda in Action
Excessive travel and the ungroundedness I felt led me to tradition — I studied yogic and Ayurvedic wisdom, built my toolkit, and created daily rhythms working with the five elements.

2021

Motherhood
Prepared my body + spirit to call in my son. He arrived radiant and ready.

Now

Mountain Mama
Now living in a Maine farmhouse with forest and river hikes, big skoolie dreams, and a tiny kitchen full of herbs.
